How often should I see a dentist?
- The American Dental Association (ADA) guidelines recommend visiting a dentist at list twice a year for an oral exam, evaluation and professional cleaning. Our office also recommends a minimum of two visits per year.
What should I expect during my appointment?
- During your first visit, we listen to your goals and expectations to achieve your ideal oral health. After gathering your medical history, a series of dental records and data are compiled. These may include X-rays, photos, study models, TMJ and muscle assessments, and a visual intra and extra oral exam.
- When required, we also work with team of specialists to help us obtain ideal form and function results.

Can the dentist whiten my teeth?
- A. There are several methods to whiten teeth: in office and at home. Office whitening is done in one hour sessions with the aid of a bleaching light and peroxide. Home bleaching requires for you to wear accustom tray with the whitening material in it for about 2 hours a day, it's a slower process and the results could be seen in 5 to 15 days. Over-the-counter daily bleaching products are available, but it is important to use any bleaching product only under the supervision of a dentist. To achieve the whitening results you desire, the ADA recommends that you seek the professional advice of a dentist, including examination and diagnosis of the cause of tooth discoloration before you begin any bleaching program.
