We understand that dental care is not every patient’s favorite activity. However, we strive to make sure our patients look forward to visiting Dr. Torrado and her friendly, gentle dental team year after year. That starts with providing safe, effective, pain free, and personalized dentistry services for every patient. We go above and beyond to ensure you’re completely at home in our office. For some, this may include sedation dentistry options, but many patients are surprised to find themselves completely comfortable in our office.
Meet The Doctor
LAURA TORRADO, DDS, FAGD
Dr. Laura Torrado specializes in designing beautiful smiles with veneers or the appropriate type of restoration needed, combining function, longevity and facial aesthetics. She graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in 1989. Her previous studies include a bachelors of science and a doctor of odontology degree in Uruguay. She has continued her post-graduate studies in full mouth rehabilitation and fixed and removable prosthetics at NYU.
At Buffalo State University, she completed the advanced program in esthetic dentistry and is an avid participant in numerous continuing education courses both nationally and internationally.
Dr. Torrado is a Pankey scholar and a graduate of the Kois Dental Center in Seattle whose curriculum includes 9 courses with the latest advances in aesthetics, implants, and restorative dentistry. In 2004, she completed her certification in Invisalign Technologies, and in 2005, she received her fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry.
In 2015, Dr. Torrado completed her Dental Sleep Medicine Residency at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Sleep Medicine and Facial Esthetics are part of her practice as well as TMD therapy and treatment of Bruxism. Additionally, Dr. Torrado completed 25 hours advanced training between 2015 and 2017 to earn a designation as a qualified sleep dentist from the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. This designation gives further credence to Dr. Torrado’s skills a sleep dentist.
In February 2017, Dr. Torrado completed a TMD residency at TUFTS University and in April 2017, Dr. Torrado completed a residency in cranio facial pain with the AACP.

Lydia R. Legg, DDS, MS
Dr. Legg is a prosthodontist that specialized in full mouth reconstruction and implant dentistry.
Dr. Legg graduated in 2007 from West Virginia University School of Dentistry. She is a West Virginia native and practices general dentistry with her father for four years before relocating to New York City where she practiced for two years. She is a Major in the United States Army Dental Corps.
Dr. Legg completed a three-year residency and received her M.S. degree in Prosthodontics from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville. Following graduation, she was selected from international applicants to participate as the fellow in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Florida Center for Implant Dentistry. She completed her fellowship in 2017. Following her fellowship, Dr. Legg was appointed clinical faculty at the UF Center for Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Legg has conducted research on prosthetic complications of implant-supported hybrid prostheses, and has a special interest in digital smile design and implant rehabilitation of patients. She mentors dental students and residents, and lectures at various study clubs. Dr. Legg is committed to all her patients and to continuing education. She has attended continuing education continuums at Spear Education, the Pankey Institute, Eubank Teaching Institute, the Dawson Academy and Charlotte Center for Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Legg has a passion for digital dentistry and technology and its’ benefits for treatment planning and designing prostheses. She understands fully the problems associated with and corrective treatment options available for severely worn teeth and complex implant restorations. With digital smile design, patients are able to view their smile before treatment is initiated.
Dr. Legg is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, International Team of Implantology, American Equilibration Society,

Outside of the office, Dr. Legg is an avid sports fan. She enjoys photography and traveling
